The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), KEAM Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024, has invited online applications for admission to Postgraduate (PG) Medical Degree courses for 2024-2025. Admissions are open for State Quota seats in Government Medical Colleges, the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) in Thiruvananthapuram, and private self-financing medical colleges across KEAM Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024, including Minority Quota and NRI Quota seats.

KEAM Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

 

To be eligible for admission to the PG Medical Degree courses in KEAM Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria before the Application Deadline:

 

1. Academic Qualifications

 

• Candidates should hold an MBBS degree or a provisional pass certificate recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or the Medical Council of India (MCI).
  
  
• Registration: Candidates must be registered permanently or provisionally with the NMC, MCI, or a State Medical Council.
  
  
• Internship: Candidates must have completed a one-year internship by 15.08.2024.
  
  

2. Nativity

 

Candidates must satisfy one of the following conditions:

 

• Indian Citizens of Kerala origin.
  
  
• Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders will now be treated at par with Indian citizens. They will be eligible for UR (General) category seats and NRI seats.
  
  
• Non-Keralite MBBS Graduates: Candidates who completed their MBBS outside Kerala but are non-Keralite will be eligible for admission. However, they do not qualify for communal, special, or disability reservations.
  
  
• Non-Keralite Service Doctors: Following the Hon’ble High Court's judgment in WP (C ) 24607/2023, non-Keralite service doctors can apply under the service quota, which was not possible before this judgment.
  
  

3. Age Criteria

 

• There is no upper age limit for general category candidates.
  
  
• Service Quota Candidates: The upper age limit for this 49 (as of 31 Medical Education Service Quota) is 49 years (as of 31st December of the notification year). The upper age limit for Health Service and Insurance Medical Service Quota is 47 years.

 

KEAM Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024 Qualifying Criteria for Admission Deadline

The seat distribution for PG Medical Degree courses in Government and Self-Financing Medical Colleges in KEAM Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024 will follow the orders of the Supreme Court, the High Court of Kerala, and the Government of Kerala/India.

Candidates for the State Quota and Self-Financing College seats will be selected solely based on the NEET PG 2024 rank list, subject to eligibility criteria. The Commissioner will prepare the rank list for Entrance Examinations in KEAM Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024.

 

The allotment of Service Quota seats will follow the CAP process based on the rank list and eligibility under the respective quotas.
