KEA NEET Counselling 2025 Correction of KCET Verification Slips

 

 

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) issued an important update on its official website on June 30^th, 2025, regarding the correction of KCET verification slips. The offline correction of KCET verification slips has been cancelled, and the online link to check and make the necessary corrections has been enabled on its official website. KEA NEET counselling 2025 candidates must visit the official website to verify and make corrections to their verification slips before the 4^th of July, 2025.

 

 

Update on the Correction of KCET Verification Slips for KEA NEET Counselling 2025

 

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) released the verification slip on June 23^rd, 2025. The authority had previously posted a notice on its official website, inviting candidates with errors on their verification slips to physically appear at KEA, with all the supporting documents.

 

There was a programme called ‘Seat Allotment Manthana’ held on June 28^th, 2025, across many places in Karnataka. Many parents and candidates who attended this programme informed the authority that some information was missing on their verification slips. They requested the authority to enable an online portal where they could make the necessary corrections. The Karnataka Examinations Authority also noticed that candidates had made incorrect entries on their verification slips despite multiple opportunities provided to them.

 

In response to this and interest of the KEA NEET counselling 2025 candidates, the authority has introduced the online portal for the correction of KCET verification slips through which candidates can make the required changes. The authority also made it clear that this is the final opportunity for the correction of KCET verification slips. The verification slip edit window opened on 1^st July, 2025, and is scheduled to close on July 4^th, 2025. KEA NEET counselling 2025 candidates must visit the official website and make the correct entries before the deadline.

 

KEA NEET counselling 2025 candidates can edit and correct discrepancies in caste/income/371 (j) eligibility fields and enter the correct RD number. They can then download the new verification slip on July 5^th, 2025. The official notice released by the authority emphasizes that there will be no offline verification at KEA.

 

Note: If there is no discrepancy in the verification slip, then editing is not required.

KEA NEET Counselling 2025 Candidates Claiming Clauses A to O

 

 

The official notice had some instructions for KEA NEET counselling 2025 candidates who claimed clause a, b, and o. Here are the instructions:

 

• Clause ‘a’: Candidates who claimed clause ‘a’ but have not verified their study details through Student Achievement Tracking System (SATS) or those who claimed Kannada medium/ rural study but did not verify at respective colleges must visit the nearest govt. PU college and verify their documents on 3^rd or 4^th July, 2025.
  
  
• Clause ‘b to o’: KEA NEET counselling 2025 candidates who claimed clause ‘b’ to clause ‘o’ but did not have their documents verified must visit KEA, Bangalore, to have them verified.

 

 

Who Must Not Visit KEA?

 

• No Errors in Verification Slips: KEA NEET counselling 2025 candidates who believe that there are no errors in their verification slips need not edit them or visit KEA, Bangalore
  
  
• Category-1, SC, ST Candidates: KEA NEET counselling 2025 candidates under category-1, Scheduled Caste (SC), or Scheduled Tribe (ST) who wish for tuition fee exemption must enter the correct RD number (from the income certificate) in the online application. If the income details are not shown on the verification slip, KEA NEET counselling 2025 candidates must just enter their RD number online correctly. If the annual income is Rs. 10 lakhs, then there is no need of entering the RD number. There is no need of going to KEA.
  
  
• General Merit Candidates: If the annual income is above Rs. 8 lakhs for General Merit Candidates, the RD number will be shown as ‘0’. There is no need of visiting KEA for this.

 

 

Candidates must not go to KEA for making corrections to their verification slips. It is in the interest of the candidates that the authority has opened the online portal on its official website for making the necessary corrections. It is also vital for KEA NEET counselling 2025 candidates to stay updated by checking the official website regularly.
