About AACCC

 

 

All eligible candidates who qualified in the NEET(UG)-2024 examination and aspiring for admission in Undergraduate (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS) courses must be aware that the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, will conduct Counselling for All India Quota seats under Government, Government Aided, Deemed Universities, Central Universities, and National Institutes for the session 2024-25.

 

1. Candidates must register at the official AACCC website to participate in AACCC-UG Counseling.

 

2. Please note that candidates must pay Non-Refundable registration fees and Non-Refundable Security deposits at the time of registration according to their category.

 

3. The Refundable Security Deposit will be forfeited if a candidate resigns from the seat/institute allotted during the second Round. Further, the Deposit will be forfeited if the candidate does not join/exit the allotted seats in Round 3 or the Stray Vacancy Round.

AACCC Counselling Types & Rounds

 

 

AACCC conducts AYUSH counselling for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats of UG & PG courses under Government, Aided, National, Central, and Deemed Universities. The respective counselling authorities of the state will conduct the counselling states for AIQ for PG and UG for private counselling. 

 

Types & Rounds

 

A. All India Quota (15%)

AACCC will conduct four rounds of counselling online: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round. Each round has its specific purpose and timeline, which can help candidates plan their participation.

After the Stray Vacancy Round of AACCC counselling, the vacant seats will not be transferred/ sent back to the respective states. This round is the final opportunity for candidates to secure a seat in the AYUSH course.

 

B. Central Universities/National Institutes (100%)

Four rounds of counselling, namely, Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round will be conducted online by AACCC.

 

After the Stray Vacancy Round of AACCC counselling, the remaining vacant seats will not be transferred/ sent back to the respective institutes.

 

C. Deemed Universities (100%)

There will be four rounds of counselling: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and the Stray Vacancy Round. Rounds 1, 2, and 3 will be conducted online by AACCC.

 

The respective Deemed Universities will conduct the Stray Vacancy round, for which AACCC will forward the list of registered eligible Candidates to the respective Deemed Universities.

 

All UG/PG seats of Deemed Universities are not reserved, i.e., the reservation policy of the Central Govt. is not applicable.

Counselling Process

 

 

AACCC counselling for AYUSH usually takes place on September 2024. Candidates must register online on the official website, aaccc.gov.in/, and provide their personal and academic information. The date for AAACC AYUSH Counselling has been released. Click here for more details.

 

The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) plays a crucial role in the counselling process under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. It conducts the counselling for All India Quota seats for UG courses (BAMS/BSMS/BUMS/BHMS). Eligible candidates who qualify for the NEET (UG) examination and seek admission to Government, Government-aid, Deemed Universities, central universities, and National Institutes are notified about the counselling process.

 

To participate in AACCC—UG Counselling, candidates must register on the AACCC official website. During registration, candidates must pay Non-Refundable registration fees and Non-Refundable Security deposits based on their category.

 

Steps involved in the process:

 

1. Registration: Candidates must register on the AACCC official website and pay the registration fee.

 

2. Payment of Counselling Fee: Candidates must pay the counselling fee, which differs from government/government-aided colleges and private colleges/deemed universities.

 

3. Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates must fill and lock their choices of colleges and courses. They can lock their choices in multiple rounds.

 

4. Seat Allotment: The AACCC will release the seat allotment list in multiple rounds. Candidates will be allotted a seat based on their NEET score and the availability of seats.

 

5. Reporting to the College: Candidates must report to the allotted college with the required documents on the given date.

 

6. Payment of Admission Fee: The candidate must pay the admission fee to the allotted college.

 

7. Documents Verification: The college will verify the documents of the admitted candidates.

 

8. Issuance of Admission Letter: The college will issue the admission letter to the admitted candidates.

 

9. Joining the College: Candidates must attend the allotted college on the date.

  

Candidates must register and set up an account on the AACCC website to participate in the online counselling process. Based on their NEET score and available seats, they would subsequently be allowed to choose the colleges and courses.

Admission Process

 

 

Aspirants who want to study AYUSH courses like BHMS, BUMS, BAMS, BNYS, and BSMS must complete their higher secondary schooling with a 45-50% aggregate mark. As AYUSH courses are based on the entrance exam, NEET- UG will be conducted for UG courses, and the processes will be similar. The steps are mentioned below:

 

Step 1: Candidates must pass their higher education with PCB and English core in both 11th & 12th from a recognized board.

 

Step 2: Candidates should be a minimum of 17 years old.

 

Step 3: Candidates need to qualify for the NEET entrance exam by scoring the minimum score and cut-off percentile, which are 50 percent for General and 40 percent for SC/OBC/ST.

 

Step 4: Candidates can now proceed with documentation verification, fee payment, and other procedures to get admission to their respective colleges.
