The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) conducts the Kerala state NEET UG 2026 counselling for the 85% state quota MBBS and BDS seats. Candidates seeking MBBS/BDS admission in the state must register through the official portal on cee.kerala.gov.in/.

 

The counselling authority will release the provisional and final merit lists on its official website, which will consist of the details of all the candidates who can participate in the Kerala state NEET UG 2026 counselling process. All the candidates who appear on the final merit list are eligible and can participate in the CEE NEET UG 2026 counselling process.

 

There are 3 major rounds in the CEE NEET UG 2026 counselling process, followed by the mop up rounds, which are filled up based on the availability of seats. Candidates must register to participate in CEE NEET UG 2026 counselling. They must then enter their college and course preference in the choice filling or online option entry stage. Candidates can enter as many options as possible in the order of their preference. The counselling authority will process the entered options for a day or two before releasing the seat allotment results. Rectification of Defects in NRI Documents

Candidates who have applied for admission under the NRI quota in KEAM 2026 have been given an opportunity by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, to correct defects found in their uploaded documents. This facility is available only for applicants whose NRI-related certificates or supporting documents have been marked as defective during the verification process. Candidates should make use of this chance within the stipulated deadline, as no further opportunity may be provided after the correction window closes.

 

To check whether any defects have been identified, candidates must log in to the KEAM 2026 Candidate Portal using their application number and password. Once logged in, they can view the details of the defective documents and understand the corrections required. The portal will clearly indicate the reason for rejection or deficiency, allowing candidates to upload the appropriate documents in the prescribed format.

Important Instruction for Candidates

Candidates who have submitted online applications to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) for the admission to MBBS/BDS courses under the NRI Quota can verify the claims and rectify the defect in the documents. The deadline to rectify defects in the submitted documents for candidates who applied under the NRI quota is up to 11:59 p.m. on 20th July, 2026.

 

Candidates should avoid creating a fresh KEAM application, as only one application is permitted for admission under KEAM 2026. The applicants must use their current candidate portal for all document corrections and updates.

 

CEE Kerala has also reminded candidates to ensure that all information provided during the application process matches the supporting documents uploaded in the portal. Any discrepancy in personal details, eligibility certificates, or NRI-related documents may affect the candidate's claim under the NRI category.
