MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024 - Steps

The MCC schedule for NEET UG Counselling 2024 outlines several key steps.

Step 1: Release of Seat Matrix

MCC publishes the seat matrix for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing courses at participating universities, offering 15 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats.

Step 2: Registration

Candidates must register online for each NEET UG Counselling 2024 round, except the Stray Vacancy round. During registration, candidates must provide contact information, NEET UG 2024 Roll Number, Rank, Scores, and other required information.

Note: Nonrefundable registration fees and a refundable security deposit must be paid.

Step 3: Choice Filling

In this step, candidates select the colleges they want to apply to. Registered candidates log in to the MCC website with their credentials to fill in their choices. MCC advises candidates to review the available seats and prepare a tentative list of preferred colleges before making their selections online.

Step 4: Choice Locking

After selecting their preferred colleges, candidates must lock in their choices. Locking choices is essential to printing a copy of the submitted selections. MCC advises candidates not to wait until the last minute to register, lock choices, and print the submission.

Note: Once choices are locked, they cannot be changed, even if a mistake was made. This could result in being allotted a seat you did not want.

Step 5: Verification by Universities and Processing of Seat Allotment

Universities and colleges will verify the registration details and choices submitted by candidates. They will then release the seat allotment results for NEET UG Counselling 2024 and share them with MCC according to the MCC schedule.

Step 6: Seat Allotment Result

MCC will announce the seat allotment results for NEET UG Counselling 2024 for those who registered and submitted their choices. Initially, a provisional result will be provided, allowing candidates to raise any objections. The final seat allotment list will be published afterward. Based on their allotment, candidates can either accept the seat and proceed with institute reporting or choose to opt for a seat upgrade and register for further rounds of NEET UG counselling 2024 as per the MCC schedule.

Step 7: Document Upload

Once the seat allotment list is available, candidates must upload their documents to the MCC schedule NEET UG Counselling 2024 website. The website will list the required documents.

Step 8: Institute Reporting

In this final step, candidates need to visit the institutes where they have been allotted seats to complete the admission process. This includes verifying hard copies of mandatory documents and paying the admission fees.
