DME Tamil Nadu Application Form 2025 and NEET Counselling for MBBS and BDS

The Health Minister of Tamil Nadu, Ma. Subramanian made an announcement on June 4^th, 2025, regarding the release of online application forms for MBBS and BDS courses in the state. Tamil Nadu Application Form 2025 for MBBS and BDS Admissions

 

 

Ma. Subramanian announced that the Tamil Nadu application form 2025 for MBBS and BDS admissions will be made available for candidates from June 6^th, 2025. TN NEET counselling 2025 candidates aspiring to pursue medical and dental education may choose to apply by visiting the official website from June 6^th, 2025. The online application forms will be available for MBBS and BDS admissions across state-run government, self-financing, and private institutes.

 

Ma. Subramanian recalled that the online application forms were made available only after the release of the NEET UG results last year (2024). This not only gave candidates less time to fill out their NEET UG application forms but also limited time period for the authority to verify the application forms. The earlier release of the online Tamil Nadu application form 2025 for MBBS and BDS admissions will grant candidates sufficient time to carefully fill out all the necessary details and submit them on time. This will also give the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) enough time to check and verify the applications before the commencement of TN NEET counselling 2025.

 

He further stated that candidates will be given additional time to fill out their NEET application forms after the NEET 2025 results are released. The deadline to fill out the online Tamil Nadu application form 2025 for MBBS and BDS admissions will be 5 days after the release of the NEET 2025 results. Candidates do not have to worry about entering their NEET 2025 scores (as they are not released yet). Once the results are released, the DME will obtain the NEET scores based on the roll number on the admit card uploaded by TN NEET counselling 2025 candidates.

 

 

The Health Minister had also asked the heads of self-financing colleges and private universities to maintain transparency in the fee structures. He asked them to share a breakup of the fee structures including tuition, hostel, and any other fees to be paid.
