INI CET 2024- AIIMS Begins Open Round Counselling Dates

 

The INI CET 2024 exam was conducted on May 19, 2024, in a computer-based format at designated test centers. AIIMS has announced the dates for the INI CET open round counseling 2024. Registration for the open round counseling began on July 24, 2024, and the deadline for registration and choice declaration is July 30, 2024. The seat allotment results for the open round will be announced on August 14, 2024. 

 

Candidates who took the INI CET PG for the July 2024 session on Sunday, May 19, 2024, and achieved the following percentiles are provisionally eligible (subject to other criteria) to participate in the Open Round of Seat Allocation:

 

a) Unreserved (UR)/EWS/Foreign National/OCI - 50th percentile 

b) OBC, SC, ST, PwBD - 45th percentile 

c) Bhutani National - 45th percentile

 

Candidates are required to report to their allotted institute for document verification by August 22, 2024. The results for the INI CET July 2024 round-2 counseling were declared on July 13, 2024, and the seat allotment results were made available online in PDF format.

 

The entire counseling process for seat allotment is conducted online. AIIMS has provided an official brochure for INI CET 2024 counseling on its official website. Candidates who meet the minimum cutoff can participate in the online INI CET counseling rounds for admission. They need to register on the official website and select their preferred college and course for counseling.

 

Previously, on May 25, the INI CET result for the July 2024 session was released online. The result PDF, listing the qualified candidates, was uploaded on the official website. Approximately 1.5 lakh candidates took the exam this year. Of these, around 43,095 candidates qualified for MD/MS courses, while 2,265 qualified for MDS. AIIMS does not send the results to individual candidates; they must download the INI CET July 2024 result cum merit list from the website.

Eligible candidates must register for the INI CET 2024 counseling. During the registration process, they need to provide personal, academic, INI CET exams, internships, and National Medical Commission (NMC)/State Medical Council (SMC) details. Only those who meet the eligibility criteria can complete the INI CET registration.

Candidates can register online for the Open Round of Seat Allocation by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at www.aiimsexams.ac.in.

 

1. Visit www.aiimsexams.ac.in.

 

2. Select your desired course “[MD/MS.(M.Ch.(6yrs.)/DM(6yrs.)]” / “MDS” under the “Academic Courses” tab and click on “Registration/Login” under General Links to proceed.

 

3. Enter your Registration ID and Password to log in.

 

4. On “My Page,” click the “Register for Open Round of Seat Allocation” link.

 

5. Choose the option to register for the Open Round of Seat Allocation.
