The Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 Round 2 Registration process is necessary for students who either need to get a seat in the first round or wish to upgrade their seats. This comprehensive guide explores the details of the process, covering key dates, registration steps, and what to expect during this stage.

Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 Round Wise Highlights

The Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 process is conducted by the Directorate of Higher & Technical Education, Arunachal Pradesh. It is designed to allow candidates to apply for medical and paramedical programs such as MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B. Sc. Nursing, and others across various state institutions.

Students who qualify for NEET UG 2024 and wish to study in Arunachal Pradesh must participate in the Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling process. It is divided into several rounds, with Round 2 Registration critical for those seeking a new seat or upgrading their previously allotted seat.

Why Round 2 Registration Matters for Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024

The Round 2 Registration process in Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 offers a second chance to:

  • Students who didn’t secure a seat in Round 1.
  • Those hoping for a seat upgrade.
  • Candidates who want to change their allotted seat.

Failure to register for Round 2 may result in missed opportunities, making the Spot Round the last chance to secure a seat.

Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 Round 2 Registration Process

To participate in the Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024 Round 2 Registration, candidates must log in to the PCB Group counselling Portal using their user credentials. The portal is accessible via
www.apdhte.nic.in. After logging in, candidates can check their seat allotment details and proceed with the required actions based on their seat status.

Actions Based on MBBS and BDS Seat Allotment:

  • No Seat Allotted: Candidates who do not receive a seat in Round 2 should await the Spot Round notification, which will be published on the official website and local newspapers.

  • Seat Retained or Upgraded: If a candidate’s seat is retained or upgraded from Round 1 of Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024, they must pay the seat acceptance fee (if applicable) and submit their willingness to "Freeze" the seat if they wish to join the course. The Provisional Allotment Letter can then be downloaded, allowing them to proceed with the admission process.

If a New Medical Seat Is Allotted (Not Retained or Upgraded):

  1. Joining the New Course and College: Candidates wishing to join the newly allotted seat must pay the seat acceptance fee online. Without paying this fee, candidates cannot proceed with the admission process during Arunachal Pradesh NEET Counselling 2024. Failure to pay within the stipulated time will result in the automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.

  2. Not Joining the New Course and College: If the candidate chooses not to join the newly allotted seat, they should not pay the seat acceptance fee. This will automatically make them eligible for the Spot Round, considered as a surrender of the seat allotted in Round 2.
