A Hello Mentor Overview of NEET UG 2024 Re-Examination Results Announced
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the revised results for NEET UG 2024. This update brings relief and marks a significant moment for many candidates, offering renewed hope and potentially altering their future trajectory.
The revised results are now available online, and candidates can easily access their updated scorecards by following these simple steps:
Important Points to Note
Revised Results: Revised results are typically due to corrections or updates in the scoring process, ensuring that all candidates receive accurate scores. You can be confident that the revised scores you receive are the most accurate representation of your performance.
Always remember, your security is our priority. Be cautious of any third-party websites claiming to offer result access. Always use the official NTA website or the link above to ensure you're getting the most accurate and reliable information.
In response to various cases and representations regarding time loss faced by candidates, the NTA has used a normalization formula devised and adopted by the apex court in a 2018 judgment. This formula was applied to compensate candidates with grace marks. According to an NTA spokesperson, some candidates' marks could be 718 or 719 due to these adjustments.
To ensure transparency, the NTA provided 1563 candidates with an opportunity to retake the exam. Fresh admit cards were issued on June 20, and the re-exam was conducted on June 23, 2024. Out of these candidates, 750 were absent for the re-exam. Below is a detailed breakdown of re-exam attendance:
The qualifying cut-off for NEET UG varies each year based on the collective performance of the applicant pool. Below is a table highlighting the average marks out of 720 for qualified NEET UG candidates across the years:
