CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025 has three rounds and an additional stray vacancy round. The counselling authority's allocation of seats is strictly merit-based. CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025 Process for the First Three Rounds

 

The CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025 process for the first three rounds is similar. Round 1, round 2, and round 3 occur consecutively. The round-wise steps for CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025 are as follows:

 

  • Registration: CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025 candidates must register to participate in each round. They must visit the registration portal on the official website of CEE and enter the required details. Candidates must ensure that all the details entered are correct and without any errors, especially their mobile number and email ID, as all the important communication will be done through the entered details. Candidates must keep their login credentials safe until the counselling and admission processes are over.


    Note: CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025 candidates must use the same mobile number and email ID that were used on NTA’s official website.


  • Pay the Fees: Once the candidates have filled in their application forms, they must pay the required registration fees. The registration fee for General category candidates is Rs. 625, whereas the fee for Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates is Rs. 250.

    Note: Candidates must know that the registration fees, once paid, cannot be refunded whatsoever.


  • Online Option Entry: The counselling authority of Kerala will provide time for online option entries, otherwise known as choice-filling. During this phase, candidates must enter their college and course preferences. Candidates are advised to enter their most preferred colleges and courses at the top, as the counselling authority prioritizes the top-listed choices during seat allotments. They are free to choose as many options as they wish.


  • Seat Allotment: The counselling authority processes the seat allotments for a day or two. Candidates are allotted seats based on their NEET AIR scores, categories, and online option entries. The results of the seat allotments are posted on the official website.


  • Report to the Allotted College: Once the results are posted, candidates must report to their allotted colleges within the specified deadline. They must carry the required original documents and the tuition fees. The original documents will be verified for authenticity, avoiding fraud and ensuring fairness in the NEET counselling 2025 process. Once the documents are verified, candidates must pay the requisite tuition fees and take a printout of the payment receipt for future reference.

 

 

 

Options for Candidates Allotted Seats During the First Three Rounds

 

Candidates who were allotted seats in the first three rounds of CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025 have the following options.

 

  • Option 1: Accept the allotted seat and report to the allotted college.
  • Option 2: Upgrade - Participate in the next round.
  • Option 3: Free Exit - Not satisfied and unwilling to participate in the next round.
  • Option 4: Exit CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025—I am unsatisfied with the allotted seat and have gotten a seat elsewhere.

 

Note: There is no option to upgrade seats in the third round (mop-up round).

 

 

CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025 Process for the Stray Vacancy Round

 

 

The stray round in the CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025 process is vital, as it gives opportunities specifically to candidates who were not allotted seats in the previous rounds of counselling. Candidates participating in the stray vacancy round must enter fresh options, and the choices entered in the previous rounds will not be considered. Candidates must accept the allotted seats and report to their allotted colleges. Failure to accept the allotted seat in the stray vacancy round will result in the forfeiture of the security deposit and the ineligibility to participate in NEET for up to 3 years. 

 

 

Kerala State Counselling Eligibility for NEET Counselling 2025

 

Here are the Kerala State Counselling Eligibility criteria for candidates looking to participate in CEE Kerala NEET Counselling 2025:

 

  • Age: Candidates must be 17 years of age by December 31st, 2025, for Kerala State Counselling Eligibility.

  • Nativity: Candidates must be citizens of India for Kerala State Counselling Eligibility. Candidates who have the Overseas Citizen of India Card are also eligible for Kerala NEET UG 2025; however, they will not be eligible for any reservations.

  • NEET Exam 2025: Candidates must have cleared the NEET 2025 exam with the required qualifying percentiles for Kerala State Counselling Eligibility.
