The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has announced the Special Stray Vacancy Allotment for PG Medical Courses 2024. This phase is designed to fill the vacant seats after the Stray Vacancy Allotment. Eligible Kerala State Merit List candidates can register their options online from March 11, 2025, to March 13, 2025 (5:00 PM).

This allotment is crucial as it provides candidates with a final opportunity to secure admission into postgraduate medical courses in Kerala. The selection process will be based on the merit list and online preferences submitted by the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the Special Stray Vacancy Allotment, candidates must:

  • Be included in the Kerala State Merit List published by CEE.

  • Register their options afresh for this round.

  • Pay the option registration fee (details below).

  • Not hold a seat from previous allotments (First, Second, Third, or Stray Vacancy Allotment).

  • Not be listed in the list of ineligible candidates shared by MCC after the AIQ Special Stray Vacancy Round.

Option Registration Process

Candidates can register their options by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official website: www.cee.kerala.gov.in

  2. Log in using the Application Number & Password.

  3. Click on the ‘PG Medical 2024 Candidate Portal’ link.

  4. Select the ‘Special Stray Vacancy Registration’ menu.

  5. Enter preferences for available courses and colleges.

  6. Submit the options before March 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM.

Allotment will be based on merit and the online options submitted by the deadline.

  • Candidates who have already paid the fee in Phase III or Stray Vacancy Allotment but did not receive an allotment need not pay again or only pay the balance amount, if applicable.

  • The registration fee will be refunded for those who join the allotted seat after the counselling session.

  • Non-joining candidates will forfeit their registration fee and must pay liquidated damages per Clause 10.1.19 (4) of the Prospectus.

Important Conditions

  • Fresh Option Registration is Mandatory: Previous phase options will not be considered.

  • Candidates who fail to join their allotted seat in this round will lose the registration fee as a penalty. Be required to pay liquidated damages and be barred from appearing for NEET PG 2025 as per MCC rules.

  • Candidates already holding a seat in any previous round (First, Second, Third, or Stray Vacancy) are not eligible.

  • Candidates who vacated a seat after February 7, 2025 (5:00 PM), are not eligible.

  • MCC's ineligible candidate list will be strictly followed.

  • Phase II: March 18, 2025

9. What is the last date to report to the allotted college?

  • Phase I: By March 17, 2025 (3:00 PM)
