The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) posted an update on November 13^th, 2024, regarding the rectification of defective documents. This was after it released the provisional Category Merit List for CEE Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024.

The provisional Category Merit List included the names of eligible candidates for CEE Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024. Some candidates had uploaded defective documents for reservation/proof of nativity. These candidates have ‘Withheld’ written against their names. The official notice mentions that the candidates’ categories will be released only if they upload valid documents. The Proof of Nativity document is mandatory for an applicant to be considered for admission to PG medical courses. The official notice mentions that if the proof of nativity document is not submitted within the stipulated time, then the provisionally allowed category will be cancelled. Furthermore, they will not be considered for CEE Kerala NEET PG Counselling 2024.  

The ranks of these candidates have also been withheld. The ranks will be released once the candidates clear the defects in the categories by submitting valid documents before the stipulated time.

Candidates must be aware of the dates for document upload and rectification of defective documents. This notification was posted on the official website on November 13^th, 2024. The last day for document upload is November 16^th, 2024, until 12:00 p.m. Candidates must ensure they submit the required document within this time.
