Chhatisgarh NEET MDS Counselling Procedure

 

 

Candidates can register for Chhattisgarh NEET MDS 2024 Counselling through the official portal of the Directorate of Medical Education, Raipur. The Chhattisgarh NEET MDS 2024 counselling process can be summarized in the following steps:

 

Step 1: Online Registration

 

• Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website.

 

• To register, use your NEET MDS roll number and the email address used for All India NEET MDS registration, then follow the on-screen instructions.

 

• The candidate's All India NEET MDS registration details will then be displayed.

 

• Qualified applicants must make an online payment, after which they will receive an SMS on the registered mobile number confirming successful registration.

 

• After successful payment, candidates will receive a Transaction and Registration number via SMS on their registered mobile number.

 

Note:  It’s important to note the password created during registration for choice filling.

 

 

Step 2: Online Security Deposit Payment

 

• Candidates intending to participate in the Chhattisgarh NEET MDS counselling process to secure an MDS seat in their preferred Dental College must pay the required security deposit, as specified on https://www.Chhatisgarhdme.in/.

 

• Once the security deposit is paid and the state merit list is released, the online seat choice-filling option will become available according to the scheduled timeline.

 

• Candidates can print their online payment receipt after the transaction is completed.

 

Step 3: Merit Declaration

 

• The State merit list will be based on the All India NEET MDS 2024 rankings.

 

• The final merit list will be prepared according to the guidelines displayed on the website.

 

Step 4: Online Choice Filling

 

• Visit the website: https://www.Chhatisgarhdme.in/

 

• Click on the Choice Filling section.
  

 

Choice Filling Procedure:

 

1. Login using your NEET MDS roll number and the password created during registration.

 

2. You can fill in your choices over multiple sessions, but be sure to save your progress; otherwise, your work may be lost.

 

3. Your choice-filling process is only complete once you submit and lock your choices. No changes can be made after locking.

 

4. After the final date for choice filling, the seat allotment list will be published online.

 

 

Step 5: Seat Allotment

 

• Log in to the website to view your seat allotment status.

 

• If you accept the allotment letter but do not join or resign after joining, you remain eligible for second counselling, but you will forfeit your security deposit.

 

• If you join the allotted college, you will still be eligible for second counselling to upgrade your seat without losing your current seat. If your seat is upgraded, the previous allotment will automatically change.

 

• Seat allotment will be conducted online based on merit and your choices.

 

• Candidates in the physically handicapped category must be physically present before the medical board on dates that will be provided on the Directorate of Medical Education Raipur's website.

 

• Reserved category candidates will receive admission according to state government rules applicable on the counselling date.

 

• OBC candidates covered under the creamy layer provisions will not be eligible for OBC category benefits.

 

• Candidates who fail to present the required original documents at the time of admission or are found to have concealed or falsified information will lose any benefits from appearing in the entrance exam or obtaining a seat.

 

Notes: 

 

1. If a candidate does not participate in online counselling or does not join the allotted seat by the due date, he/she shall forfeit any right of admission based on said counselling/allotment.

 

2. The option, once exercised by the candidate in online counselling, cannot be altered under any circumstances.

 

3. No request for re-allotment of seats already allotted in the first and second rounds will be entertained.
