Correction Window: NEET UG 2024 Photograph Update

 

 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has identified an essential correction requiring attention: the photographs submitted by candidates during the NEET UG 2024 registration process.

Upon thorough scrutiny, the NTA has noticed that some candidates have yet to follow the prescribed specifications regarding the format of their uploaded photographs. This mistake not only risks the smooth conduct of the NEET UG examination process but also poses potential complications for the affected candidates in receiving their admit cards.

It has announced a one-time opportunity for NEET UG candidates to correct or change their uploaded photographs, avoiding adverse consequences such as withholding admit cards. This corrective window underscores the NTA's commitment to fairness and equity in the NEET UG examination process.

The correction window for NEET UG 2024 will commence on April 25, 2024, at 7:00 AM and remain open until April 26, 2024, at 11:59 PM. During this period, candidates are encouraged to review their uploaded photographs diligently and make necessary amendments to ensure compliance with the prescribed standards. Adhering to this timeline is essential, as no further corrections will be entertained thereafter.

 

Candidates can access the correction facility through the NTA login portal. Upon logging in, they will be directed to the specific fields for correction, primarily focusing on the photograph upload section. The process is designed to be user-friendly, allowing NEET UG candidates to make necessary adjustments quickly and efficiently.

 

Doing so avoids complications during the issuance of admit cards, as any errors during application filling may result in candidates' NEET UG candidature being canceled. Additionally, candidates are advised to refer to the remarks column of their Advance City Intimation Slip for any further instructions or clarifications.

Registration for NEET UG 2024 was from February 9 to March 16 (9:00 PM). Students could adjust their applications from March 18 to 20 during the correction window. 

 

A record 23,81,833 candidates have registered to appear for NEET UG 2024, a 14.1% increase in total registrations. Knowing total registrations helps aspirants understand their current competition landscape.
