DHTE Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling Admissions for 2024-25 Session

DHTE has released the Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling notice for 2024-25 medical admission. Check Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling dates, eligibility criteria, round wise counselling schedule for 2024-25.

 

The Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy (DHTE) in Tamil Nadu has officially released a press announcement regarding admissions to Undergraduate ASUH (Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Homoeopathy) courses for the academic year 2024-25. This notification invites eligible candidates to apply for admission into the 5 ½ year UG programs in BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BSMS (Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery), BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery), and BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery). 

 

These courses will be offered under Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling Government & Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Government Surrendered seats, Management Quota Seats, and All India Quota seats across all Government and Self-Financing ISM Medical Colleges in Tamil Nadu. 

 

Admissions to Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling courses will be based solely on merit, determined by the marks obtained in the Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling UG 2024 examination, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have completed the NEET UG exam are encouraged to apply.

 

Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling Application Process and Key Dates

 

The Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling application process for these courses must be followed carefully to avoid any disqualifications. Interested candidates must download the application form and prospectus from the official website of DHTE, www.tnhealth.tn.gov.in, between August 4, 2024, and August 27, 2024. The filled in application forms, along with all necessary documents, must be submitted by August 27, 2024, by 5:30 PM. It's important to note that Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling application forms will not be issued by the Selection Committee Office or the Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy.

 

Note: Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling Candidates should apply separately for each quota they are interested in, such as Government & Government Surrendered seats, Management Quota Seats, and All India Quota seats.

Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling  and Seat Allotment

 

Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling for these courses will be conducted in person, and candidates must be physically present at the designated venue, which will be communicated through the official website. Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Candidates must attend the Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling session on the specified date at their own cost. Failure to attend the Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling will result in forfeiting their chance for admission.

 

Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling Application Fee and Submission Guidelines

 

The cost of the Tamil Nadu AYUSH Counselling application form varies based on the quota and the candidate’s category:

 

Counselling Quota

Fees in Rupees

Government Quota & All India Quota (OC, BC, BCM, MBC/DNC)

Rs. 500/-

Government Quota (SC, SCA & ST)

Nil

Management Quota (For All Communities)

Rs. 1,000/-

 

The application fee must be remitted through SBI e-Collect only. Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling applications received after the deadline, regardless of postal or courier delays, will not be accepted, and no further correspondence will be entertained.
