Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI), Guwahati, under the Assam State Quota for the academic session 2024.

Note: DME Assam NEET PG 2024 Round 2 Candidates who participated and were admitted in the 1st round of Counselling do not need to re-register or attend the document verification process.

 

Eligibility Criteria for Round 2 Counselling

To participate in the DME Assam NEET PG 2024 Round 2 of Counselling, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:


  1. NEET PG 2024 Qualification: Candidates must have appeared for the NEET PG 2024, which was conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE), and secured the minimum qualifying percentile.

  2. State-specific Merit List: The candidate’s name and NEET PG roll number must appear in the DME Assam NEET PG 2024 Round 2 State-specific merit list released by the DME.

  3. Candidates Already Registered: Candidates who registered in DME Assam NEET PG 2024 Round 2 and still need to secure a seat or are seeking better college/course allotment are eligible to participate without re-registration.

  4. Fresh Registrations: New candidates who still need to register in Round 1 can register for Round 2 within the specified dates.

Step-by-Step Counselling Procedure

Here is the detailed step-by-step process for participating in the DME Assam NEET PG 2024 Round 2:


Step 1: Online Registration

  • Candidates must visit the official website of DME Assam NEET PG 2024 Round 2: www.dme.assam.gov.in.

  • The registration portal will be open from 12th December 2024 to 14th December 2024 (Midnight).

  • Fresh candidates (who did not register in Round 1) must complete their registration before the deadline.


Step 2: Online Choice Filling

  • Registered candidates can log in to the portal to fill out and submit their choice preferences for colleges and courses.

  • Choice filling will be open from 15th December 2024 to 19th December 2024 (5 PM).


Step 3: Choice Locking

  • Candidates must lock their choices between 4 PM and 11:55 PM on 19th December 2024.

  • If candidates fail to lock their preferences manually, the system will auto-lock their last saved choices.


Step 4: Processing of Seat Allotment

  • Seat allotment processing will take place between 20th December 2024 to 22nd December 2024.

  • The DME will process the data and allocate seats based on NEET PG 2024 merit position, Choices submitted by the candidates, and Availability of seats under the DME Assam NEET PG 2024 Round 2 State Quota.

Step 5: Result Declaration

  • The college-wise and subject-wise list of provisionally selected candidates will be published on the official website on 23rd December 2024.

  • The list will also include modalities of admission.


Step 6: Document Verification (Centralized)

  • Provisionally selected candidates who did not undergo document verification earlier must report to the O/o the DME Assam NEET PG 2024 Round 2, Sixmile, Guwahati-22, on 26th December 2024 for document verification.

  • Candidates must carry their original documents for verification.

Step 7: Reporting/Joining

  • After successful verification, candidates must report and complete their admission formalities at the allotted institutions between 27 December 2024 and 28 December 2024.

Important: Candidates who have already been admitted into PG courses after Round 1 Counselling do not need to participate in the verification process.
