The ESIC medical colleges have a lower fee structure compared to the private institutions; however, candidates must sign a one year service bond for UG admissions. The Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, released a pre-admission notice for MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc Nursing courses in Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) educational institutions on February 5th, 2026. • Applications by IP Persons: Applications will be invited from eligible ‘Ward of Insured Person’ (IP) under the ESI Scheme for admission in UG Course (MBBS/BDS) & B.Sc Nursing Course in ESIC Educational Institutions and some Government Medical Colleges under ‘Seats allocated for Ward of IP’ for academic session 2026-27 as per admission policy and procedure
• Eligibility and ESIC Medical College MBBS Seat Distribution for IP: The eligibility conditions and number of seats for ESIC Ward of IP will be published (ESIC medical college MBBS seat distribution) on ESIC Website (i.e., www.esic.gov.in) under ‘Admission’ link in due course of time
• Stay Updated: Applicants are advised to visit/check the ESIC (www.esic.gov.in) and DGHS/MCC (www.mcc.nic.in) website regularly for further details/instructions

The total number of ESIC medical college MBBS seats in 2025 was 1,880, an increase of 525 seats from 2024, which had 1,355 seats. The ESIC medical college MBBS seats were available in 16 states across the country in 2025. In 2025, India had a total of 20 ESIC medical colleges, out of which 9 were newly added for the AY 2025-26. 3 out of 11 existing ESIC medical colleges received 25 seats each for the NEET UG 2025 session. Karnataka was the state with 300 ESIC medical college MBBS seats, the highest compared to other states.
