Joining Report & Self Appraisal Form at OPJR Required by NBEMS Trainees

NBEMS trainees admitted in the 2024 session must submit their Joining Report and Self-Appraisal Form at the Online Portal for Joining and Registration (OPJR) to complete the registration process.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that the Joining Report and Self Appraisal Form must be submitted for candidates who have joined NBEMS Trainees Broad Specialty courses (Post MBBS DNB, Post MBBS Diploma, and Post Diploma DNB) in the 2024 admission session. The Online Portal for Joining and Registration (OPJR) will complete this process.

The process ensures that trainees are officially registered as NBEMS trainees and can begin training. Both accredited hospitals and candidates must adhere to the defined timelines and requirements for submitting joining reports, Self Appraisal Forms, and verification processes.

Detailed Process for Joining and Registration at OPJR

1. Candidates Required to Register at OPJR

The following candidates must update their joining status at OPJR:

  • NBEMS Trainees Allotment: Candidates who have joined seats allocated through MCC or NBEMS Trainees counselling.

  • State Quota and Sponsored Candidates: In-service doctors joining the in-service quota and candidates joining sponsored seats must also complete the registration process.

For Candidates

  • Step 1: Completion of Joining Formalities at OPJR.

  • Step 2: Submission of the Self Appraisal Form.

  • Step 2: Verify the Self Appraisal Form submitted by the candidate.

  • Step 3: Submission of allotment details at OPJR.

  • Step 4: Cautious verification of original documents to confirm eligibility.

3. Document Submission and Verification

The hospital must submit the following documents:

  • Annexure-A (Joining Report) confirms the candidate's physical joining at the hospital.

  • Document Submission: Candidates must upload all relevant documents on the OPJR portal.
