On September 1st, 2024, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced 135 available medical seats for the mop-up round following the second round of KEA NEET Counselling 2024 under the private quota.
On September 1st, 2024, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced that 135 medical seats, will be available for the upcoming mop-up round after the completion of the KEA NEET Counselling 2024 second round of seat allotment under private quota.
The mop-up round seat allotment availability for the MBBS program under the KEA NEET Counselling 2024 Private Quota, listing various medical colleges in Karnataka. These colleges, such as Dr. AMC, KIMS, MSRMC, KBNIMS, and AJIMS, are located in different cities like Bangalore, Gulbarga, Mangalore, Davangere, and Tumkur. Each college is represented by a unique code.
Candidates eligible for the KEA NEET Counselling 2024 mop-up round are required to pay the medical course fee deposit in advance. Those who paid a caution deposit during the second round but did not secure a medical seat must pay the remaining balance after deducting the previously paid caution deposit.
The challan can be paid online between October 5th - October 8th, 2024. Such candidates can register for the mop-up round from October 7th to October 14th, 2024.

The above abbreviation includes seat categories and the codes correspond to different quotas and reservation categories, which affect the allocation of seats for MBBS students.
Note:
1. If the candidate is allotted a medical seat in the mop-up round seat allotment, the paid deposit will be adjusted towards the medical course fee.
2. If a candidate fails to join the allotted college, decides to cancel their seat, or does not report to the college, their deposit will be forfeited.
Candidates who were not allotted any medical seats in the first and second rounds of KEA NEET Counselling and those whose seats were cancelled due to non-payment of the caution deposit can participate in the mop-up round seat allotment if they are interested in the available medical seats.
Candidates who were allotted seats in the KEA NEET Counselling 2024 through KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) can only participate in the medical seat allotment.
The KEA NEET Counselling 2024 for MBBS admissions is conducted in four stages, namely Registration, Choice filling, Seat allotment, and Reporting. All these stages are equally important for those applying for KEA NEET Counselling 2024.
To participate in the KEA NEET Counselling 2024, a candidate must register on the official website of KEA. Follow the steps given below to register:
Step 1: Go to the official website and select ‘UGET-2024 Online Registration’. Enter details such as the name of the candidate, contact address details, category, PwD status, educational qualification details, date of birth, etc. Application ID and password will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidate.
Step 2: Upload images of a recent passport-sized photograph, signature and thumb impression (left hand)
Step 3: Pay the registration/KEA NEET Counselling 2024 fee. The registration fee can be paid online using a credit card/debit card/net banking. Candidates can also pay the fee offline by downloading the bank challan.
Step 4: Save and print a copy of the application form and keep it safe for future use.

11. Kannada medium study certificate (if claiming Kannada medium quota)
12. Hyderabad-Karnataka Region Reservation Certificate (if applicable)
13. Parent’s study certificate/ hometown certificate/domicile certificate/employment certificate/cumulative record/marks card (if applicable)
