KEAM Kerala 2024 Final Category List for MBBS, BDS and Allied Courses (Out)

CEE Kerala has published the final category list for KEAM-2024 medical and allied courses admissions. Candidates can check the final list on the official CEE website for clarity on reserved seat allocation.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has released the final category list for admission to medical and medical allied courses under the KEAM Kerala 2024 entrance examination. This crucial update comes after reviewing and addressing the valid complaints raised regarding the provisional category list, ensuring transparency and fairness in the admission process. The Final Category List is now available for candidates to view on the official CEE website at www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

The final category list specifies the eligibility of candidates under various categories, community, and fee reservations for admission into medical and allied courses. This process is essential for ensuring that the right candidates benefit from reserved seats as per the prevailing policies. The finalization of this list was done with careful consideration of all genuine complaints received in response to the earlier provisional list. It provides a clear and accurate representation of the eligible candidates.

Candidates who have applied under different reserved categories can access the final list by logging into the KEAM Kerala 2024 Candidate Portal. Once logged in, they can click on the ‘Category List’ menu to verify their inclusion in the final category list.

Important Update for NRI Candidates

One key update pertains to NRI candidates who have submitted expired or soon-to-expire visas along with their online applications. These candidates have been provisionally included in the NRI category list, provided they submitted a self-declaration from their sponsor.

However, to maintain their status in the NRI quota, these candidates must submit their original valid visa or an official acknowledgment on or before the deadline set by the CEE. This deadline coincides with the last date for option registration for the third phase allotment to MBBS/BDS courses. If the required documents are not submitted by the stipulated date, their NRI quota status will be canceled, and any allotment received under this category will be revoked.

How to Check the Final Category List?

Candidates can easily access the final category list through the official KEAM Kerala 2024Candidate Portal. By navigating to the ‘Category List’ option, applicants can confirm their status and ensure their eligibility for their respective reserved category or community. This tool is user-friendly, allowing candidates to quickly review their placement in the list and make any necessary preparations for the subsequent phases of the admission process.

KEAM Kerala 2024 Counselling Round 2

After the announcement of KEAM results, candidates whose names appear in the rank list released by CEE can participate in the KEAM counselling process. KEAM counselling process is held in three rounds along with one mop-up round. Through KEAM Kerala 2024 counselling candidates are allotted seats based on their preferences and the availability of seats in a particular college and course. KEAM Kerala 2024 counselling is called the centralized admission process.

The KEAM Kerala 2024 counselling process includes:

  • KEAM Kerala 2024 option registration

  • Trial / provisional allotment

  • Final KEAM allotment of seats

  • Payment of admission fees at the allotted colleges and document verification

The Centralised Allotment Process will be done through the Single Window System (SWS) to give allotments to the various courses and colleges under the State's Engineering/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/Medical streams. This is a system of ‘Allotments through Online Submission of Options’. The options are the willingness of a candidate who qualified with a rank in the rank lists of KEAM Kerala 2024 to join a course-college combination prioritized as per his/her aspiration and desire.
