Candidates in the Kerala State Medical Rank List published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) can now register their options for the Stray Vacancy Round Seat Allotment.

  1. Included in the Kerala State Medical Rank List: KEAM Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024 Candidates must be listed in the Kerala State Medical Rank List published by the CEE.

  2. Not Allotted in Third Phase: KEAM Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024 Candidates who are allotted seats in the third phase of allotment are not eligible to participate.

  4. Vacated Seats After Exit Date: Those who vacated their seats after 2:00 PM on October 15th, 2024 (as per the exit date notified on October 9th, 2024) are not eligible.

  5. Allotted by MCC: Candidates allotted a seat by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) after the third round of All India Quota (AIQ) KEAM Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024 will not be considered for Stray Vacancy Round Seat Allotment.


Note: KEAM Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024 Candidates receiving a seat through this allotment cannot change it.

The tentative schedule for the KEAM Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024 Stray Vacancy Round Seat Allotment is as follows:

Registration for Stray Vacancy Allotment

  1. Visit the CEE Website: Go to the official website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations: www.cee.kerala.gov.in.

  2. Click on 'Stray Vacancy Option Registration': The link will be available on the homepage under the relevant menu.

  3. Provide Options for All Preferred Colleges and Courses: KEAM Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024 Candidates should provide options for all the colleges and courses they wish to study. Based on the options provided, the list of probable vacancies will be filled, and category seats that remain unallotted will be converted according to the existing prospectus conditions.


The option registration window will remain open until 11:59 PM on October 27th, 2024. KEAM Kerala NEET UG Counselling 2024 Candidates are encouraged to register early to avoid last-minute issues.

 

Penalties for Non-Joining Candidates

  • For the MBBS Course: A fine of ₹10,00,000 (Ten Lakhs) will be imposed.

  • For BDS Course: A fine of ₹5,00,000 (Five Lakhs) will be imposed.


These penalties will be applicable regardless of the candidate's annual family income, nativity, or reservation status. Additionally, candidates who do not take up their allotted seat will have their candidature canceled and be debarred from appearing in entrance examinations or participating in allotments conducted by the CEE for up to two years.

 

Important: If the penalty is not remitted, recovery will be initiated under the Revenue Recovery Act.

 

Guidelines for Participating in Stray Vacancy Allotment
