Category-wise Educational Qualification at KNRUHS

 

Students should know the educational qualification requirements for KNRUHS admission 2026. In accordance with NMC regulations, the candidate must have passed Intermediate (10+2 pattern) or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology, and English. Eligibility Criteria for KNRUHS 2026 Admission

 

KNRUHS 2026 MBBS Admission candidates who have qualified in NEET UG 2026 by securing the cut-off marks or above must apply to determine the State Merit position for Competent Authority Quota seats. The eligibility criteria for KNRUHS admission 2026 are as follows:

 

  1. The candidate should have studied in an educational institution in the local area for not less than four consecutive academic years ending with the academic year in which they appeared, or first appeared, in the relevant qualifying examination.
  2. If the candidate did not study in educational institutions during all or part of those four consecutive academic years, they must have resided in the local area for not less than four years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the relevant qualifying examination in which they appeared, or first appeared.
  3. The local area means the State of Telangana. If the candidate has not studied in any educational institution and has resided in the local area as stated above, they must have appeared for the relevant qualifying examination in Telangana to be eligible for admission into undergraduate courses under the Competent Authority Quota.

 

Moreover, the candidates of KNRUHS 2026 MBBS Admission must have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2026. Candidates who do not complete 17 years by 31-12-2026 need not apply for counselling.
