Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, has released a notification for the Special Stray Vacancy Phase of web-based counseling for the Postgraduate Medical Admissions under the Management Quota (MQ1 & NRI Quota) for the academic year 2024-25. This phase aims to fill the remaining vacant seats in Private Unaided Non-Minority and Minority Medical Colleges affiliated with KNRUHS.

Eligibility Criteria for Web Options

 

Only candidates whose names are listed in the updated provisional final merit list published on the KNRUHS website on March 12, 2025, are eligible to participate in this phase. However, certain restrictions apply:

Candidates who have been allotted seats in the Special Stray Vacancy round under MCC counseling.

Candidates who have not secured a seat in any other PG medical college in India.

Candidates who have been admitted under Competent Authority Quota.


Note: If any candidate who is already admitted into any PG Medical course exercises web options and is found violating the rules, their admission will be canceled automatically, and they may face legal consequences.

Web Options Process

 

Step-by-Step Guide to Exercising Web Options

  1. Login with Credentials: Enter your NEET-PG Roll Number and password.

  2. Verify Eligibility: Ensure that your name appears in the provisional final merit list.

  3. Select Preferred Colleges & Courses: Candidates can choose from the available vacant PG Medical seats as per their eligibility.

  4. Prioritize Choices: Candidates must carefully rank their preferences for colleges and courses.

  5. Submit Web Options: After selecting preferred choices, submit and save the web options.

  6. Receive OTP for Confirmation: An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the registered mobile number for final confirmation.

  7. Print the Submitted Web Options: After successful submission, take a printout of the web options for future reference.

Note: Candidates must exercise options carefully, as seat blocking penalties apply if they fail to take admission after being allotted a seat.

Important Guidelines for Exercising Web Options

  • Only eligible NEET-PG-2024 candidates as per the final merit list can exercise web options.

  • Candidates must carefully go through the KNRUHS PG prospectus available on the official website before making choices.

  • There is no limit on the number of choices - candidates can select as many subjects and colleges as per their preference.

  • Muslim Minority Candidates can opt for Management Quota seats in both Minority and Non-Minority Medical Colleges.

  • Once allotted a seat, candidates must report to the college within the specified time; otherwise, they face a penalty of ₹50 lakhs and a three-year ban from KNRUHS PG Medical Admissions.

  • Seats once allotted cannot be changed, so candidates should prioritize their options carefully.

  • Web options must be exercised through a desktop/laptop; mobile devices and tablets should not be used.

  • Candidates should keep their registered mobile phone active for receiving OTP and allotment notifications.

  • Candidates should download and print their allotment letters after payment of the University Fee.

Candidates will receive an SMS notification on their registered mobile number. They must also check the official website https://pvttspgmed.tsche.in for allotment status.

 

5. How do I pay the University Fee?

The University Fee must be paid online through the payment gateway after seat allotment. Only after payment can candidates download their allotment letter.

 

6. What documents are required at the time of reporting to the allotted college?

Candidates must bring their original certificates, sponsorship letter (for NRI quota), allotment letter, tuition fee payment receipt, and relevant bonds to complete the admission process.

 

7. What is the last date to join the allotted college?

The last date for reporting to the allotted college is mentioned in the allotment letter. Failure to report before this date will result in automatic cancellation of admission.

 

8. Can I withdraw from the course after joining?

No, after the last date for free exit (February 16, 2025, by 3:00 PM), candidates cannot withdraw. If they do, they must pay the penalty of ₹50 lakhs as per KNRUHS rules.
