Eligibility Criteria for KVAFSU Admissions under the NRI Quota

Candidates under the NRI quota must assess their eligibility before participating in KVAFSU admission. Here are the eligibility criteria for admissions, as per the KVAFSU 2025 official information bulletin:

 

  • Age Limit: The applicants/candidates should have attained the age of 17 years and should not have completed 25 years of age as of 31/12/ 2026. No relaxation of the minimum and maximum age limit is permissible on any grounds whatsoever.

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have cleared the 12th Standard/Pre-University Course (PUC)/equivalent examination. The admission to KVAFSU colleges is based on the merit secured in these examinations.

  • Valid Marks Card Requirement: Candidates must have the original marks card of the qualifying exam to be considered for admission to KVAFSU colleges in the state. If the original mark card is not available, candidates must obtain the Principal's signature from the institution where they completed their 12th standard or PUC examination.

    Qualification Criteria for International Students: If international candidates seek admission to KVAFSU colleges, they must submit certificates or transcripts which are approved and recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). They must submit an equivalence certificate issued by the AIU.

  • Authentic Information: Candidates will not be eligible for admission to KVAFSU colleges if any false information or fake documents are found during the verification process

 

Required Documents for KVAFSU Admission

Candidates must ensure they submit all required documents to be considered for KVAFSU admission. Here’s a list of the required documents for KVAFSU admission for the NRI, OCI, and PIO candidates, as per the KVAFSU 2025 official information bulletin:

 

  • Duly completed original application

  • Certificate of NRI status of the applicant issued by the Indian Embassy from the respective country of their residence as per ANNEXURE-I

  • In case of OCI / PIO applicant, valid Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) / Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card/certificate

  • Proof of 3 years of education in foreign country of applicant

  • Proof of financial status of NRI/ OCI/PIO applicant / parent / guardian

  • The valid passport of the NRI/ OCI/PIO applicant

  • Marks card of the qualifying examination of the applicant

  • Proof of date of birth of the applicant

  • Character certificate from institution last attended

  • NEET score 2026 (entrance conducted by National Testing Agency) of applicant

  • Declaration from the applicant and the parent / guardian as per ANNEXURE –III

  • Medical fitness certificate of the applicant signed by a Medical Officer not below the rank of Civil Surgeon of Government Hospital as per ANNEXURE-V
