As per the official notice, the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for undergraduate courses, including MBBS, is expected to commence soon. The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET) has advised candidates to have all the required documents for MBBS admission ready well in advance before the registration process begins. Candidates will have to upload all the following documents while registering for the Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2026 process.   • Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate (Maharashtra State format only; Central Government format is not accepted)

  • Orphan Certificate (issued by the Women and Child Welfare Department)

  • Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Certificate (issued by an Authorized Medical Board recognized by MCC)

  • Defense certificate (as per the Information Brochure Annexure)

  • Hilly Area documents:

    Parent’s Dongari Certificate

    Parent’s Domicile Certificate stating domicile in a village declared as a hilly area

    Proof that the candidate passed SSC/HSC from a school or junior college in the hilly area of the parent’s domicile (or at most from the same taluka)

  • Maharashtra-Karnataka Border (MKB) documents:

    Candidate’s Domicile Certificate from the MKB area issued by the Karnataka State authority

    Certificate from the school principal/headmaster confirming that the candidate’s mother tongue is Marathi

  • Minority Status documents:

    School Leaving Certificate mentioning Jain/Muslim/Christian minority status or mother tongue

    Certificate from a religious institution confirming Jain/Muslim/Christian minority status

    Affidavit stating that the candidate belongs to the Jain/Muslim/Christian minority

    For linguistic minorities: school certificate recording the mother tongue (if not mentioned in the School Leaving Certificate)

  • Affidavit stating that the candidate belongs to the Gujarati/Sindhi/Hindi linguistic minority

  • Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Passport
