What are the Next Steps in the MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024 Process?

Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly, as the dates are subject to change. Here are the next steps in MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024.

  • Registration: The registration for round 2 of MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024 has commenced. According to the official website, the last day for registration and choice filling is December 9th, 2024. Candidates must fill in the required details and pay the registration fees to register successfully for round 2 of MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024.

  • Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates who have successfully registered must choose colleges according to their preference. Selecting colleges in the order of preference helps the counselling authority prioritize the colleges listed at the top for seat allotments. There is no limit to the number of choices in the choice-filling stage. MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024 candidates are advised to carefully review the choices and lock them.

  • Seat Allotments: Candidates are allotted seats based on their NEET PG percentile, cut-off scores, category, and online option entries (choice-filling). The official notice mentions that the counselling authority will allot seats on December 10th and 11th. The results of seat allotments will be posted on the official website on December 12th, 2024. Candidates must check the allotment status by visiting the official website and download the allotment letter.

  • College Reporting: MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024 candidates who were allotted seats must download the allotment letter from the official website. They must report physically to their respective colleges along with their original documents and the allotment letter. No representations will be accepted for the reporting process. The dates to report to allotted colleges are from December 13th, 2024, to December 20th, 2024 (8 days). Failing to report within this time will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat. The candidates’ original documents (including NRI documents) are verified at the time of reporting to confirm the candidate’s eligibility for the allotted seat. Any discrepancy noted in the original documents at the time of reporting will lead to the forfeiture of the allotted seat. The candidates must then pay the required tuition fees to confirm the seat. They are also advised to take photocopies of the payment receipt for future reference.

Candidates who are not allotted seats or are not satisfied with the allotted seats in round 2 of MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024 must participate in round 3. The round 3, or the mop-up round, aims to fill the vacant seats from round 2 of MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024.
