The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released a notification regarding the conversion of nationality from Indian to NRI for MCC NEET PG counselling 2025. The MCC NEET PG 2025 NRI conversion window opened at 10 a.m. on 25th October 2025 and will close at 12 p.m. on 28th October, 2025.

The seats are then allotted based on the candidates’ NEET percentile, cut-off scores, category, and online option entry. The seats are allotted in the order of names appearing on the merit list. The results of seat allotments will be posted online.

 

Candidates applying under separate categories and quotas must have the original documents and submit them whenever required by the counselling authority. The notification regarding the conversion of nationality from Indian to NRI for MCC NEET PG counselling 2025 was released on 24th October, 2025. Those who want to change their nationality from Indian to NRI must do so by emailing the authority along with the supporting documents within the stipulated timeline.

  • Single Email: The official notice mentions that all the supporting documents for the nationality conversion claim must be attached to one single email

  • Timely Action: The official notice mentions that candidates must candidates must send their emails with the supporting documents within 12 p.m. on 28th October, 2025. Emails sent after the deadline will not be considered for conversion from Indian to NRI.

 

 

 

Required Documents for MCC NEET PG Counselling 2025 NRI Conversion

 

 

Candidates must attach the documents specified by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Here are the required documents for Indian to NRI conversion in MCC NEET PG counselling 2025:

 

  1. NEET-PG Admit Card and Score Card
  2. Proof of NRI Status of the parent / relative:

      Valid Passport
    Visa / Residence Permit / Work Permit
     Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card / PIO card, if applicable
      NRI Certificate issued by the Competent Authority (Embassy / Indian Consulate)


  3. Certificate of Relationship between the NRI relative and the candidate issued by the competent Revenue Authority through Family Tree
  4. Affidavit (Notarized) by the NRI relative stating that they will sponsor the entire course fee and living expenses of the candidate during the period of study duly supported by NRE (Non-Resident External) Bank Account Pass Book
  5. 10th & 12th mark sheets + passing certificate
  6. Birth certificate
  7. Passport of candidate / Sponsorer (optional)

Here are a few additional points for candidates wishing to convert from Indian to NRI in MCC NEET PG counselling 2025:

 

  • No Reversion: MCC NEET PG counselling 2025 candidates must know that once their nationality is converted, they will be considered under the NRI quota for all the rounds of counselling

  • No Reservation: Candidates who convert to NRIs will not be eligible for reservations under the Muslim Minority quota / Jain Minority Quota / SC / ST / OBC / EWS or any other Quota

  • Provisional Conversion: The conversion to NRI is provisional, as it is based on the scanned documents submitted by candidates. Only after the documents are verified at the allotted college will the candidate be deemed an NRI.
