The Open (OPN) category had the highest seat allotments in the round 1 of MCC NEET PG counselling 2025, with 4,925 seats. This was followed by Other Backward Class (OBC) and Scheduled Caste (SC), with 3,231 and 1,777 seat allotments, respectively.

 

 

DNB Quota MCC Round 1 NEET PG 2025 Seat Allotments: Category-wise Analysis

The Open (OPN) category had highest number of seat allotments under the DNB quota, with 7,437 allotments. This is followed by Other Backward Class (OBC) and Scheduled Caste (SC) categories, with 608 and 338 seat allotments, respectively.

 

 

 

Deemed Quota MCC Round 1 NEET PG 2025 Seat Allotments

 

A total of 5,404 candidates were allotted seats under the deemed quota in MCC round 1 NEET PG counselling 2025. All the 5,404 candidates were allotted seats under the Open category. These candidates were allotted seats across 43 deemed institutes across the country.

 

A candidate with a NEET PG AIR of 685 (1st rank on the MCC round 1 NEET PG counselling 2025 seat allotment list under the deemed quota) was allotted a seat at Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. They were allotted a seat for the M.D. Dermatology specialization. Their tuition fees for the 1st year is Rs. 28,70,000/-.

 

The last ranking candidate (NEET PG AIR 1,38,558) on the MCC round 1 NEET PG counselling 2025 seat allotment list under the deemed quota was allotted a seat at Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute, Chennai. They were allotted a seat for the M.S. Orthopaedics specialization. Their tuition fees for the 1st year is Rs. 1,98,00,000/-.
