MP NEET Counselling 2024: Round 1 Seat Allotment Result (OUT)

 

The Department of Medical Education (DME) in Madhya Pradesh announced the round 1 seat allotment results for MP NEET Counselling 2024 on August 29, 2024. Candidates can download the result PDF from the official website.

 

To complete the admission process and verify documents, candidates must report between August 31 and September 4, 2024. The registration for MP NEET Counselling 2024 began on August 12, 2024, with the application deadline set for August 20, 2024.

 

The merit list was released on August 21, 2024. The seat allotment process is conducted online, with DME, and MP managing the counselling for 85% of the seats.

 

To participate in  MP NEET Counselling 2024 for MBBS/BDS admissions under state quota seats, candidates need to register on the official website, dme.mponline.gov.in, and submit their application form. Seat allocation is based on merit, preferences, seat availability, and reservation criteria. Candidates who have been allotted a seat must download the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result result from the official website and report in person for document verification.

It's important to note that only candidates who meet the NEET 2024 minimum cutoff will be eligible for the seat allotment process. The MP NEET Counselling 2024 begins with online registration, followed by the release of the state merit list, choice filling, Round 1 Seat Allotment Result, and reporting for document verification. The merit list includes eligible candidates who must then select and lock their preferred colleges and courses for seat allotment.

 

Admission to state quota seats for both MBBS and BDS courses is conducted through MP NEET Counselling 2024. The DME oversees the counselling process for 85% of state quota seats, with a total of 37 government and private colleges participating. The MP NEET Counselling 2024 will be held in four rounds: first, second, mop-up, and college-level rounds. A mop-up round will be conducted if any seats remain vacant after the second round of  MP NEET Counselling 2024.

MP NEET Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria

 

Candidates who wish to participate in the counselling of MP NEET 2024 need to fulfill the following eligibility requirements, set by DME:

 

Age: Applicant must be at least 17 years old on the date mentioned by the exam conducting body. There is no upper age of the applicants.

 

Qualification: Applicant must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics, Biology, Chemistry, and English as core subjects.

 

Domicile: Applicant must be domiciled in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Those who have completed their formal education from the state, but are not domiciled in MP, can also apply for  MP NEET Counselling 2024.

 

MP NEET Counselling 2024 Process

 

Profile Creation:

 

Candidates have to create a profile on the official website before registration. Candidates will have to provide details such as roll number, secret key, and captcha, contact number, bank details to create a profile. 

 

Registration:

 

Post the announcement of the NEET result 2024, all those who have qualified for the examination and wish to participate in the counselling will have to register on the official website of DME. They must note that it is mandatory to register online to fill out the application form for the  MP NEET Counselling 2024.

 

Seat matrix and merit list:

 

DME will release the list of participating institutes along with the seats available in them for each category. This seat matrix will be followed by the release of the MP NEET state merit list. The Round 1 Seat Allotment Result merit list will include the names of all eligible candidates who have filled out the application form for  MP NEET Counselling 2024.

 

Choice Filling and locking:

 

Candidates who have been included in the state merit list can proceed towards choice filling. To access the choice-filling option, they will have to log in to the account created during the registration/application process. It is important to note that the candidate who fails to fill the desired choices will not be considered for the Round 1 Seat Allotment Result process. They must also lock their choices before the last date to be considered for the next stages of MP NEET counselling 2024. 

 

Seat allotment list:

 

Based on the merit position of the candidate and the choices filled by them, DME will prepare the result for the  MP NEET Counselling 2024. DME will release a separate Seat Allotment Result list for every round of MP NEET Counselling 2024.

 

Document verification and confirmation of admission:

 

Candidates who have been allocated a seat and want to continue with it will be required to report to the respective institute for document verification. They need to carry original certificates, with two attested copies, to the allocated institute for verification. They will also need to deposit the tuition fee for the current year to confirm admission.
