The MCC has commenced NEET MDS 2024 counselling round 2 registration at their official website. The NEET MDS 2024 counselling round 2 choice filling will begin on July 23, 2024. Candidates can do registration and choice-filling for NEET MDS 2024 counselling round till July 28. MCC NEET MDS 2024 counselling is being conducted separately for the 50% AIQ seats and 50% state quota seats by the MCC and the state counselling authority, respectively.

 

The round one result for NEET MDS 2024 was announced on July 10. Candidates needed to report to the allotted college by July 17, 2024. The provisional result of the NEET MDS 2024 round 1 seat allotment was declared on July 9. The NEET MDS 2024 counselling is conducted in four rounds - Round 1, round 2, a stray vacancy round, and a mop-up round. Candidates granted seats in the counselling rounds must report at the allotted institute on or before the deadline set by the authority.

 

The NEET MDS 2024 Counselling Round 2 registration process commenced on July 22, 2024. The last registration date is July 28, 2024, up to noon. The choice-filling process will begin on July 23, 2024, and the choice-locking process will commence on July 28, 2024, at 4 PM. The last date to submit NEET MDS counselling 2024 choices is July 28, 2024, 11.59 PM

 

Candidates were allowed to claim seats assigned in Round 1 of NEET MDS 2024 counselling from July 20, 2024, to July 22, 2024, as per MCC guidelines. If candidates received seats in both the All India Quota and State Quota and intended to accept the State Quota seats, they could relinquish the AIQ seats within the specified period. 

 

Aspiring candidates are required to complete the registration process to participate in the NEET MDS 2024 seat allotment process. To register for the first round of NEET MDS 2024 counselling, candidates must provide their application number, NEET MDS 2024 result, educational qualifications, and other relevant information.

 

NBE released the NEET MDS 2024 merit list for All India Quota (AIQ) 50% seats. This merit list lists the candidates eligible to participate in the NEET MDS 2024 counselling. Individual scorecards on AIQ 50% were released on April 30, 2024.

 

NEET MDS 2024 Counselling

 

 

MCC conducts the counselling for NEET PG based on the results of qualified candidates sent by NBE. MCC initially uploads the provisional result in every round to verify the candidates/colleges based on their choices, merit, and eligibility. 

 

The counselling of NEET MDS 2024 will be conducted for admission to MDS courses offered in the following:

 

  • 50% All India Quota seats
  • Deemed Universities
  • Central Universities
  • Armed Forces Medical Services
  • ESIC colleges

The NEET MDS 2024 counselling procedure includes registration of candidates, filling out and locking preferences, declaring results, and reporting to the respective colleges for admission. The seats that remain vacant after every round of counselling will be filled through the subsequent rounds of counselling. 

 

The step-wise NEET MDS 2024 counselling is mentioned below:

 

 

Step 1 - Counselling Registration

 

  • In the first step, aspirants can click on the link, which will be provided on this page.

 

  • Candidates will then have to select the stream (medical/dental), NEET MDS 2024 roll number, application number, candidate name, date of birth, security pin, and other requested details.

 

  • Also, aspirants must provide the remaining details, which must be completed successfully for the registration process.

 

  • The login credentials will then appear on the screen, which must be preserved until the admission process is completed.


Step 2 - Filling out personal details

 

  • In the next step of NEET MDS 2024 counselling, aspirants must enter their details, such as their father's and mother’s names, addresses, categories, and other information.

 

  • Candidates must fill in the details carefully while filling in the details, as the particulars cannot be edited, and similar information filled in here will be required at the time of document verification and admission.

 

 

Step 3 - Payment & Registration slip

 

  • Candidates need to pay NEET MDS 2024 counselling fees. The non-refundable registration fee and refundable tuition fee must be paid online only through credit/debit cards and net banking.

 

  • After successfully paying the registration fee, the registration slip will be displayed on the screen. A printout of the registration slip is required for further admission.

 

Note: MCC of DGHS will share the data of joined candidates in rounds 1, 2, and 3 of counselling with all the participating States. Similarly, the participating States will also share the data of joined candidates. 

 

Step 4 - Available choices

  • At the beginning of the NEET MDS 2024 seat allotment process, the available choices will be displayed on the left-hand side of the screen.

 

  • Candidates who submitted the fees for 50% AIQ/central and deemed universities can fill the choices under every category of seats.

 

Step 5 - Filling and locking of preferences

  • To fill out preferences, candidates must click on the ‘+’ button available for every option.

 

  • After the selection, the choice on the left side will automatically shift to the right-hand side of the screen.

 

  • Once all the selections are made, candidates must click on the ‘save and continue’ button to lock and continue the process, then click on ‘save and go to home page’ to exit.

 

  • While filling in the choices, aspirants can move up and down and delete them. They can also choose to change it with others.

 

Note: If any aspirant forgets to lock the preferences, the options of colleges filled will be locked automatically.

 

Step 6 - Take a printout

Aspirants are advised to print out at least three to four printouts of the preferences filled. If anyone still needs to lock their choices, they can also print out their preferences once the locking process is over.

Documents required for NEET MDS 2024 counselling

 

 

Aspirants are advised to take the originals and a set of photocopies of all the required documents.

 

 

  • NEET MDS 2024 result 

 

  • Mark sheets of BDS (all years)

 

  • NEET MDS admit card

 

  • BDS degree certificate or provisional certificate

 

  • Certificate for completion of the internship.

 

  • Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)

 

  • High school/Higher Secondary Certificate/Date of birth for birth proof

 

  • One identification proof - PAN card, Aadhaar Card

 

  • SC/ST certificate issued by the competent authority 

 

  • OBC certificate issued by the authority. 

 

  • Disability certificate issued by the medical board only.
