NEET PG 2024 Exam City Allotment Date postponed to July 31

 

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has postponed the exam city allotment date for NEET PG 2024. As per the latest notice, NEET PG 2024 Exam City intimation will be released at natboard.edu.in on July 31, 2024, for candidates who will be appearing for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate examination on August 1, 2024. Previously, it was scheduled for July 29, 2024.

 

Note: Test city allotment will be done via email, not on the official website.

 

This information will only indicate the name of the city in which the test centres will be located. Admit cards will indicate detailed information about the test center, including the address.

 

NBEMS will email the city allotment list to the candidates at their registered email IDs.

However, the test city allotment will not include the NEET PG 2024 exam centre details. The authorities will announce the NEET PG 2024 exam centre name and other details inside the hall ticket. The NEET PG 2024 admit card will be released on August 8, 2024, on the NBEMS website.

NBEMS will conduct the NEET PG 2024 exam on August 11, 2024. The examination will be conducted in two shifts for admission in MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), and PG Diploma level programs across the country. Initially, the exam was on June 23, 2024, but later the NBEMS announced the rescheduling of the NEET PG 2024 examination on August 11, 2024, in two shifts. 

 

Students must note that they shall not be allowed to exercise the choice of shift (Morning or Afternoon) to appear in the examination. The authorities will soon announce the NEET PG 2024 exam timing for both shifts. Besides, clarification on the NEET PG 2024 exam shift 1 and shift 2 will be provided shortly on natboard.edu.in. 

NEET PG Exam 2024 in Two Shifts 

 

 

NEET PG exam is conducted for admission in several MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), and PG Diploma level programs across the country. The examination will be held in computer-based mode for 13,649 MS course seats, 922 PG Diploma level seats, and 26,168 MD level seats across the medical colleges in India.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET PG, and Institute of National Importance Central Entrance Test, INI CET are the two primary entrance tests for admissions to Post Graduate medical courses nationwide.
