The National Testing Agency (NTA) has successfully conducted NEET UG 2024 on Sunday, 5th May 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM (IST). Over 23.3 lakh candidates appeared for NEET UG 2024 examination at 4750 different Centres located in 571 Cities throughout the country, including 14 Cities outside India.

 

To ensure transparency and allow candidates to verify their responses, the NTA has uploaded the Provisional Answer Keys, Scanned Images of OMR Answer Sheets, and Recorded Responses on its official website, NTA Exams.

 

 

Important Dates and Fees for Challenges in NEET UG

 

Candidates can challenge the Provisional Answer Key and Recorded Responses within the specified dates:

The scanned images of the OMR Answer Sheets have also been sent to the candidates' registered email addresses, which were provided when they submitted the Online Application Form for NEET UG 2024.

 

 

How to Challenge the NEET UG Answer Key and OMR Grading

 

Candidates who wish to challenge the Provisional Answer Key or OMR grading can do so by following these steps:

 

  1. Visit the official NTA website.
  2. Log in with your credentials.
  3. Select the question/answer you wish to challenge.
  4. Pay the processing fee of ₹200/- per answer or question challenged via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
  5. Submit the challenge before the deadline (31 May 2024, up to 11:50 PM).

 

NEET UG Verification Process

 

All challenges submitted by candidates will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts. If a challenge is found to be valid, the Answer Key will be revised accordingly and applied to all candidates' responses. The final result will be based on the revised Answer Key.

 

Note:

 

  • No individual candidate will be notified about the acceptance or non-acceptance of their challenge.
  • The final Answer Key will be final and binding as determined by the experts after considering the challenges.
  • No further challenges will be entertained after the deadline.
