This notification includes essential updates on eligibility criteria and registration details under the Competent Authority Quota (CQ) and Management Quota (MQ). Competent Authority Quota (CQ) – Stray Vacancy Round

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who can participate:

  1. Candidates who do not hold seats or get seats in Phase/Round-I, II & III (AIQ, State, Deemed).

  2. Candidates who were allotted a seat but did not join in Round I, Round II of State Quota, and All India Quota.

Candidates who cannot participate:

  1. Candidates holding a PG (Medical) seat in Phase-I & II of NTRUHS AP NEET PG Counselling 2024.

  2. Candidates can participate in Phase III (Mop-up Round) of NTRUHS AP NEET PG Counselling 2024.

  3. Candidates holding a seat allotted in Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3 of All India Quota/Deemed universities.

  4. Candidates listed in the admitted candidates list under All India Quota after the 3rd round.

  5. Candidates are allowed seats in the stray round of All India Quota/Deemed universities.

Important Note

  • Candidates allotted seats in this phase but do not join the course will be debarred from participating in NTRUHS AP NEET PG Counselling 2024 under the Competent Authority Quota and the Management Quota for the next academic year.

  • Candidates need to be sure about their choices before filling in their preferences, as failure to join after seat allotment can significantly impact their future chances of admission.

Registration Process

  1. Visit the official NTRUHS AP NEET PG Counselling 2024 portal.

  2. Click on the Competent Authority Quota Stray Vacancy Round Registration link.

  3. Fill in the required details such as NEET PG rank, application number, and personal information.

  4. Upload the necessary documents, including NEET PG scorecard, identity proof, and educational certificates.

  5. Submit the registration form and complete the choice-filling process before the deadline.

Management Quota (MQ) – Stray Vacancy Round


Eligibility Criteria


Candidates who can participate:

  1. Candidates who do not hold seats or get seats in Phase/Round-I, II & III (AIQ, State, Deemed).

  2. Candidates who were allotted a seat but did not join in Round I, Round II of State Quota, and All India Quota.

Candidates who cannot participate:

  1. Candidates holding a PG (Medical) seat in Phase-I & II of NTRUHS AP NEET PG Counselling 2024.

  2. Candidates can participate in Phase III (Mop-up Round) of NTRUHS AP NEET PG Counselling 2024.

  3. Candidates holding a seat allotted in Round 1, Round 2, and Round 3 of All India Quota/Deemed universities.

  4. Candidates listed in the admitted candidates list under All India Quota after the 3rd round.

  5. Candidates are allowed seats in the stray round of All India Quota/Deemed universities.

  6. Candidates allotted seats in the CQ Stray Round will not be eligible for the MQ Stray Round, regardless of whether they applied or chose options in that round.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates wishing to participate in the MQ Stray Vacancy Round must pay a ₹3 lakh security deposit.

  • Registration and document uploads are also open for S2 (NRI) and S3 (Institutional) quota seats.

  • Previously registered candidates must indicate their willingness to participate and pay the security deposit.

Important Note

  • Candidates allotted a seat in this phase who do not join the course will be debarred from participating in NTRUHS AP NEET PG Counselling 2024 under both the Competent Authority Quota and the Management Quota for the next academic year.

  • Such candidates will also face a penalty, such as forfeiture of the Security Deposit.
