The St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences has released a notice regarding registration for admission to the MBBS course on its official website. The deadline to register and pay the fees for Karnataka CET for St. John’s Medical College MBBS admission 2026 is February 16th.

The St. John’s Medical College was established in 1963 by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI). It is a private, not-for-profit medical institution with a strong mission focus on serving underserved communities. The institute is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), which is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). St. John’s Medical College is considered a prestigious medical institution and is frequently ranked among the top medical colleges in India.

 

The teaching hospital of the institute has around 1,350 beds spread across multiple clinical departments. There are several ICUs, emergency services, specialised units, and super-speciality care centres in the St. John’s Medical College Hospital. The hospital is further equipped with advanced technologies, including a CT scan, MRI, Da Vinci surgical robot, Gamma Camera, etc.

 

There are a total of 150 MBBS seats in St. John’s Medical College. 120 of the total MBBS seats in the institute are reserved for six different Roman Catholic quotas. 10 seats are reserved for All India General Open Merit, Institutional Staff Quota, and Karnataka State Open Merit categories each.

Eligibility Criteria for St. John’s Medical College Registration 2026

To be eligible for the St. John’s Medical College MBBS admission 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:

 

  • The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of St. John’s Medical College MBBS admission 2026

  • The candidate must have individually passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the final examination of the Pre-University course or its equivalent, to be eligible for St. John’s Medical College MBBS admission 2026. For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, or Other Backward Classes, the minimum required percentage in the three science subjects, taken together, is 40%.

  • The candidate must have appeared for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test UG – NEET 2026 and qualified for St. John’s Medical College MBBS admission 2026 as per the Government of India norms

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen and should have completed at least 7 years of continuous study in India, including Classes 10 and 12. There is no NRI/OCI quota in the St. John’s Medical College MBBS course.

  • If any certificates or information submitted at the time of St. John’s Medical College MBBS admission 2026 are later found to be false, then the allotted seat will be cancelled, and the candidate will be liable to pay the entire course fee, along with the service bond penalty
