Eligibility Criteria for the Stray Vacancy Round
Eligible Candidates:
- Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024 Candidates who are not holding any MBBS/BDS seat through All India Quota or State Quota.
- Candidates who did not secure seats in previous Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024 (Round 1, Round 2, or Mop-Up Round & Stray Vacancy Round).
Ineligible Candidates:
- Those who have already joined an MBBS/BDS seat through All India Quota or State Quota (including Government, Management, NRI, and NRI Lapsed Quotas).
- Candidates who did not join the seat allotted through Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024 State Counselling Round 3.
Registration and Security Deposit Requirements
- New Registrants: Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024 Candidates registering for the first time must pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 500 for Government Quota and Rs. 1,000 for Management Quota.
- Returning Candidates: Tamil Nadu NEET UG Counselling 2024 Candidates who participated in previous rounds (R1, R2, or Mop-Up) but did not secure a seat do not need to pay the registration fee again.
Security Deposit

- Per government guidelines, the tuition fee for BDS seats in self-financing dental colleges should be paid directly to the college.
Reporting to the Allotted College
- Certificate Verification: Verification of original certificates will take place at the allotted college.
- Required Documents: Candidates must bring their original certificates and scanned copies for verification.
- Self-Declaration: When reporting, candidates must submit a self-declaration form stating they are liable for forfeiture of selection or admission if any misrepresentation is discovered.
