Nagar, Chennai, as well as seats under Government & Management Quota (including NRI & Minority) in Self-Financing Medical & Dental Colleges, State Private Universities, and Christian Medical College in Vellore. Furthermore, the Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling session will also consider the wards of IRT candidates.

Round 1 Schedule Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling General Instructions

 

When participating in the Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Round 1 Schedule online choice filling for MBBS and BDS courses, Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling candidates must follow the Round 1 Schedule instructions outlined below:

 

• Registration Fee: Candidates must pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 500/- for Government Quota seats and Rs. 1000/- for Management Quota seats.
• Security Deposit: Government Quota: For Government Medical and Dental Colleges: Nil, For Self-Financing Medical & Dental Colleges and State Private Universities: Rs. 30,000/-
• Security Deposit: Management Quota: Including Minority/NRI Category seats in Self-Financing Medical & Dental Colleges and State Private Universities: Rs. 1,00,000/-
• Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Candidates belonging to SC/SCA/ST who convert to Christianity from Scheduled Caste (SCC) and have an annual income of less than 2.5 Lakhs are exempt from paying the security deposit.
  
• Choice Filling: Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Candidates can choose from all applicable seats. Candidates who have applied for both Government and Management Quota can choose from both categories. Choices can be edited any number of times before locking, but once closed, they cannot be changed. Candidates will be automatically closed if they fail to lock their choices before the deadline (27-08-2024, 5:00 PM).
• Seat Matrix: The seat matrix for the courses will be available on the official website.
• Connectivity & Procedural Responsibility: The Selection Committee is not responsible for connectivity errors or procedural issues during Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling.
• Online Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling & Reservation: Admissions will be made through online Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling based on rank, adhering to the reservation rule.
• Course or College Change: Once the final locking is done, requests for changes in the course or college will not be entertained.

 

 

Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Round 1 Schedule Allotment Order

 

Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Candidates who are allotted seats must follow these steps to download their provisional allotment order:

 

1. Tuition Fee Payment: For MBBS seats in all colleges and BDS seats in Government Dental Colleges, candidates must pay the tuition fee online via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking to download the provisional allotment order. For BDS seats in Self-Financing Dental Colleges, the tuition fee must be paid directly at admission as per the Government Order (G.O).
2. Sufficient Funds: Ensure sufficient funds are available in your bank account with an expanded credit limit while remitting the tuition fee.
3. Reporting to Allotted College: Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Candidates must download their provisional allotment order and report to the concerned Medical College/Institution on or before the Round 1 Schedule stipulated date and time mentioned in the provisional allotment order.

Upon receiving the provisional allotment order as per the Round 1 Schedule, it is essential for candidates to promptly report to the college they have been allotted within the specified timeframe. To ensure a smooth process, candidates should follow the steps outlined below:

 

1. Certificate Verification: Certificate verification will be conducted at the allotted college. Candidates must present their original certificates in person, along with scanned copies per the Round 1 Schedule.
2. Non-Reporting: Please report to the Head of the Institution by the specified date and time to avoid the cancellation of the selection and admission without further notice.
3. Self-Declaration: Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling Candidates must submit a self-declaration form during reporting, affirming that they are liable for forfeiture of selection/admission if any suppression of facts or misinterpretation is discovered during or after the Round 1 Schedule admission process.
