Dr. Kaloji Narayan Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) is responsible for the counselling process of Telangana State for admission to 85% of State Quota seats in government colleges and 100% of seats in private colleges.

 

KNRUHS conducts a centralized counselling process for online registration, seat allotment, and document verification. Only eligible candidates who qualify for the NEET UG 2024 exam are invited for counselling and admission to medical and dental colleges.

Telangana State NEET UG 2024 Counselling Procedure

 

As per the NMC and DCI, there are a total number of 56 Medical colleges and 14 Dental colleges in Telangana State. Candidates seeking admission to the State Quota seats these colleges offer must complete the online registration form.

 

Based on the choices provided, merit ranks, availability of seats, and reservation category, admission to 5,045 MBBS and 1,140 BDS seats in government and private colleges will be granted for Telangana MBBS. The state authority KNRUHS conducts Telangana NEET UG 2024 counselling for 85% of State Quota seats, whereas the MCC will conduct the remaining 15% of seat counselling.

Telangana State NEET UG 2024 Counselling Procedure For Competent Quota

 

 

Step 1: Registration

Applicants must register on the KNRUHS portal by providing all the requisite details, such as their NEET 2024 roll number, AIR, registered number, email ID, and all other details asked for. Candidates also need to pay the registration fee.

 

Step 2: Application Filling & Documents Upload

Once aspirants complete registration and payment, they must fill out an application with all their details and upload all the original scanned documents.

 

NOTE: The universities will cancel admission if a candidate is found to have submitted false information, concealed any relevant information regarding eligibility, or uploaded forged or fake certificates or documents.

 

Step 3: Login

Once the candidate fills out the application form, they will receive the registration number through mail or SMS from Dr. KNRUHS. The candidates should log in with their registration number, AIR & password for the choice-filling option.

 

Step 4: Choice- Filling

 

Round 1

 

1. Candidates need to do choice-filling for admission to the desired college.

2. Candidates can participate in Round -2 counselling if the seats are not allotted.

3. Candidates must report to the college with the original documents and complete fee payment if the seats are allotted.

 

Round 2

 

1. Candidates are allowed to participate in choice-filling for Round -2 counselling.

2. Candidates can participate in the mop-up round if the seats are not allotted.

3. Candidates must report to the allotted college with the original documents and the fee payment if the seats are allotted.

Telangana State NEET UG 2024 Counselling Procedure for Management Quota

The candidate has to fill out the choice form for the interested medical colleges in order of priority. Candidates are allowed to fill out the form fresh in each round. Candidates are instructed to be careful while filling out the choices on the web. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the registered mobile number and mail at the time of entering and submitting choice options.

 

NOTE: Candidates are requested to take a printout of the choice-filling opinions, which will be uploaded for reference.

 

Round 1

 

1. Candidates need to do choice-filling for admission to the desired college.

2. Candidates can participate in Round -2 counselling if the seats are not allotted.

3. Candidates must report to the college with the original documents and complete fee payment if the seats are allotted.

4. Candidates joining under the management quota are also eligible for the second phase of counselling.

 

Note: Candidates need to exercise choice filling in the 1st phase of counselling to be eligible to exercise choice filling in the subsequent phase of counselling.

 

Round 2

 

1. Candidates are allowed to participate in choice-filling for Round -2 counselling.

2. Candidates can join in the mop-up round if the seats are not allotted.

3. If the seats are allotted, candidates must report to the allotted college with the original documents and the fee payment via Demand Draft/ RTGS/ NEFT.

 

NOTE: The candidate who joined in the first and second rounds of counselling slides to other colleges and the first phase of the allotted college will be cancelled automatically.

Step 5: Seat Allotment

 

Seat allotment list for admission will be published on the Admission Committee website. Candidates who are selected are required to report to the allotted college. The conducting body will release the documents that must be verified for admission. Allotted candidates must pay a non-refundable University fee via a payment gateway to download the allotment order.
