Out of the 34 states and union territories from which candidates participated in NEET 2024, these states had the highest number of MBBS admissions. These 10 states collectively saw a total of 89,254 admissions, which is 75.6% of the total admitted MBBS students in NEET 2024 in India. Around 10.6% (12,473) of the total admitted MBBS students in NEET 2024 belonged to the state of Uttar Pradesh (UP). Karnataka closely followed UP with a total of 12,392 admitted MBBS students in NEET 2024, which is 10.5% of the total admitted MBBS candidates in India. Tamil Nadu saw the third highest number of admissions with 12,049 admitted MBBS students in NEET 2024.
