Important Update: A Record 23,81,833 Registrations for NEET UG 2024

 

 

The National Eligibility and Entrance Test - NEET UG, is the nationwide standard examination for medical aspirants. Qualified students gain eligibility for undergraduate admissions to medical, dental, AYUSH, and nursing courses in India. The exam date for NEET UG 2024 is set for May 5, 2024.

 

Registration for NEET UG 2024 was from February 9 to March 16 (9:00 PM). Students could adjust their applications from March 18 to 20 during the correction window. 

 

A record 23,81,833 candidates have registered to appear for NEET UG 2024, a 14.1% increase in total registrations. Knowing total registrations helps aspirants understand their current competition landscape.

 

In 2023, NEET UG saw 20,87,445 candidate registrations globally for admission to 1,08,958 MBBS seats in 703 Medical colleges and 29,088 BDS seats in Dental colleges. 11,45,976 candidates cracked the NEET UG 2023, and 20,38,596 aspirants appeared.
