Additionally, as per government orders, NRI quota students are required to contribute ₹5,00,000/- towards the Corpus Fund.

Similarly, Government Medical College, Kollam, reserves 35% of its seats for wards of insured persons under the Employees State Insurance Corporation.

Token Fee and Fee Payment Details

Candidates allotted seats in self-financing medical colleges under KEAM Kerala 2024 must remit a token fee to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. For MBBS courses, the token fee is ₹1 lakh for general category students and ₹5 lakhs for NRI category students. For BDS courses, the token fee is ₹1 lakh across all categories, including the NRI quota. Prompt payment of this fee is crucial to secure the allotted seat, as failure to remit the token fee will result in the loss of the seat, and the candidate will not be considered for future allotments under KEAM Kerala.

The registration fees for option entry are ₹5,000/-, which will be adjusted against the tuition fee for those who secure admission.
