The first phase of NEET PG counselling 2025 has commenced and is scheduled to end on the 8th of November, 2025. The total NEET PG 2025 deemed medical college seats are 6,156.

 

 

 

The NEET PG counselling 2025 process provides opportunities for 1,28,116 NEET-qualified candidates to pursue medical education in their preferred institutions. There are a total of 28,701 NEET PG seats for the 2025 session out of which 6,156 are deemed seats. Overview of Deemed Medical Colleges and NEET PG Counselling 2025

 

 

The deemed colleges in NEET PG 2025 are private institutions recognized by the government and National Medical Commission (NMC). These colleges participate in centralized counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), offering a wide range of specializations including radiodiagnosis, general medicine, and dermatology. Institutions like Kasturba Medical College Manipal, JSS Mysuru, SRM Chennai, and Sri Ramachandra Medical College are considered among the top deemed PG colleges.

 

Candidates must have to register to participate in each of the NEET PG counselling 2025 rounds. This will be followed by online option entry or choice filling by eligible candidates (only those candidates whose names appear on the merit list). The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will process the seat allotments for a couple of days before publishing the NEET PG counselling 2025 provisional seat allotment results. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) had recently released the seat matrices of DNB, deemed, central internal quota, and All India Quota on its official website. Candidates can visit the official website to view the seat matrices. Here’s a detailed analysis of the deemed NEET PG 2025 seats, as per the information on MCC’s official notice:

 

 

  • Total number of deemed NEET PG 2025 seats - 6,156

  • Total number of specializations available for deemed NEET PG 2025 – 35

  • Total number of deemed institutes for the NEET PG 2025 session – 44

  • Total number of quotas under which deemed seats are available for the NEET PG 2025 session – 4

 

 

There are a total of 6,156 deemed PG medical seats across 44 institutes for the NEET 2025 session. A total of 35 specializations are available across clinical, pre-clinical, and para-clinical course types. The degree types available for the deemed NEET PG 2025 include MCH, MD, MS, and PG diploma. The deemed NEET PG 2025 seats are only available under the open category. They are, however, divided under 4 major quotas including Jain Minority quota, Management/ Paid Seats quota, Muslim Minority quota, and NRI quota.
