The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested 6 people, which includes 3 doctors, for alleged favourable inspection report bribery in Chhattisgarh.

 

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested 6 people in connection with favourable inspection report bribery. There were 3 doctors booked by CBI among the 6 accused for alleged involvement in favourable inspection report bribery. 3 Doctors Booked by CBI for Favourable Inspection Report Bribery

 

 

The officials of Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute, which is in Chhattisgarh’s Nava Raipur, offered favourable inspection report bribery to the inspecting doctors. The purpose for which the favourable inspection report bribery was provided was to manipulate private medical college recognition reports in Chhattisgarh. The intention of the officials at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute in Chhattisgarh’s Nava Raipur was to make the institute a recognized one. They sought to achieve this purpose by offering the inspecting officials with favourable inspection report bribery.

 

As demanded by the inspecting officials, the favourable inspection report bribery amount was sent to Bengaluru. After credible information that the officials at the Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute in Nava Raipur were bribing the inspecting officers, the CBI initiated the investigation. The officials of Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute along with the inspecting officers and intermediaries were attempting to manipulate private medical college recognition reports. Such manipulation of reports with the favourable inspection report bribery amount not only is unlawful but also poses potential risks to the quality of education and healthcare services provided by the institute.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) laid a trap and apprehended 6 individuals while they were transacting a bribe amount of Rs. 55 lakhs. There were 3 doctors booked by CBI among the 6 accused individuals. The investigation is underway to catch the remaining perpetrators involved in the favourable inspection report bribery. This is possibly a huge network, where multiple individuals may be involved in this.

 

The search is ongoing in 40 locations across 6 states, including Karnataka, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Madhya Pradesh, to nab those in connection with the case. The purposes of the investigation are to gain further evidences and identify additional suspects. The CBI is determined to trace all links in the favourable inspection report bribery chain and ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.

 

 

The 6 accused, which included 3 doctors booked by CBI, are expected to be produced at competent courts at respective locations. The CBI may seek an extension in custody for further interrogation and investigation.
