NTA has released the revised NEET UG 2024 Result & revised scorecard at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. July 26 saw the release of the revised scorecard after the Supreme Court’s directives to the National Testing Agency (NTA).
The National Testing Agency (NTA) published the NEET UG 2024 revised scorecard on July 26. Seventeen candidates are listed as toppers. Those who took the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) can view their NEET UG 2024 results and revised scorecards on the official NTA NEET website at exams.nta.ac.in or on neet.ntaonline.in. The Agency has also released a revised toppers list.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been administering the NEET UG since 2019, following the directive of the Supreme Court of India, with the approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Education.
The controversy began with the NEET UG 2024 examination held on May 5. 13,16,268 qualified students are now competing for 1,08,988 MBBS seats in medical colleges nationwide. The NEET UG 2024 results, announced on June 4, were followed by numerous complaints of paper leaks and allegations of widespread malpractice.
The NEET UG 2024 examination has come under intense scrutiny due to alleged paper leaks, resulting in several arrests and a thorough investigation by the CBI. The Supreme Court has postponed the case hearing until July 18, further adding the stress among aspiring students.
The petitioners have raised significant concerns about the fairness and transparency of the NEET UG 2024 examination. They argue that the awarding of over 1,563 students with grace marks has significantly distorted the overall rankings. This has led to widespread discontent among students and parents, who believe that the irregularities and paper leaks have compromised the integrity of the NEET UG 2024 examination.

The re-examination of NEET UG 2024 was conducted in 13 languages (Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu) and 14 cities outside India, including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bangkok, Colombo, Doha, Kathmandu, Kuala Lumpur, Kuwait City, Lagos, Manama, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah, and Singapore.
This year, 67 students shared the all-India rank 1. Six students received extra marks for time lost due to invigilator errors, and 44 received grace marks for an incorrect physics question. The revised NEET UG 2024 results reflected these changes based on the Supreme Court’s decision to accept only one correct answer for each question. As a result, the 44 students who previously scored 715 out of 720 will now be ranked after those who scored 720 and the 70 students who received 716 marks out of 720.
